Donald's Story

Life Hello ! This is Don Clark class of 1967. I worked on the year book staff 66/67. After high school, I attended N.T.S.U. for two years then started working for a photo lab in Dallas. In 1972 myself and two others started our own photo lab in Dallas, The Color Place. I worked there from Aug.1972 until April 1996 when I had to take a disability due to "Post Polio Syndrome". My wife "Kay" and I then moved to the Texas Hill Country, where we live now. The town of Llano is 75 miles n/w of Austin. This is very beautiful country. My major interest is Genealogy and Texas history," I am a sixth generation Texan. My wife has a son , and a daughter that live in Cal., and Chicago. I have two son's, Jimmy who lives in Arlington, and Sgt. Steven Clark of the 101st. Airborne. We have eight...Expand for more
grandchildren between us. I am a member of the "Sons of the American Revolution" "Descendants of George Washington's Army at Valley Forge", "The Sons of the Republic of Texas", "Sons of Confederate Veterans", And "First Families of Tennessee" and "First Families of Texas." I would love to hear from ex. "Lair staff" members. Well all things change in time. My physical condition is getting worse so we made the decision to sell our Home on Range and get a smaller place in town. I could no longer take care of the property, and there is a lot to take care of living in the country. Still getting use to someone living next door. But you do what you have to do. What a drag it is getting old :}
