Donald's Story
I left Lincoln to go to The Academy of the New Church boarding school. I graduated from there and then went to the Academy College. My college career was an on-&-off affair. I completed over 60 credits over the next 4 years mixed with several different jobs. In March of 85 I went into the Air Force. Then in March of 88 I was hired by Prince George's County Fire/EMS Dept. I also spent another 4 years in the Air Force Reserve. In January 91 our reserve unit was activated and sent to Germany during Desert Storm. Now it...Expand for more
is Jan 08 and I'm getting ready to retire from the fire dept, Yoo hoo. I've been retired now for 6 1/2 years. It's been an interesting journey. Working on getting a Martial Arts school off the ground. That has been slow going. I do have a great piece of property that keeps me very busy. My wife's business is doing great and I'm trying to do all I can to support her business. For fun I still play ice hockey and indoor soccer, fly RC planes and helicopters, and have been trying to learn to surf. All-in-all life is good.
