Donald's Story

Life After a lot of years roaming around Central American and South Florida, I finally ended up in Merritt Island FL, home of the space launch program. It's about a 5 minute drive to Cocoa Beach. I teach university MBA management and marketing courses and I'm working with the Ministry of Tourism of the Bahamas ...Expand for more
to produce some festivals next year. I also travel each year to Chengdu China where I teach an MBA course in marketing. Another classmate, Pat O'Hare, lives in Cocoa Beach. He's shaping some boards and generally being the laid back Pat. We are good buddies and talk about our days at MiCoHi when we get together.

There are other things to do in Costa Rica other than hanging around the beach. My first (and only) sail! What a rush!
A Costa Rican Cadallac carrying our boards and Greg Noll's (Da Bull) and my company's stickers.
My secretary, surf shop manager in my shop in the Hotel Fiesta and me.
His first time on a board. In the pool at the Hotel Fiest at Boca Barranca in Costa Rica. We gave free surfing lessons for the locals after our event each day.
This was the first pro contest in CR. Great staff. The man on the far left is Chuck Herwig who still lives in Jaco Beach CR and has the best surf shop going!
