Donald's Story
Without realizing it Peabody set my direction in life. The Principle, with his wisdom pointed me in my career direction.
Helping me find an apprenticeship with a local Architect.
After Peabody I went into the Navy and chased Russian submarines in the North Atlantic
With the help of the G.I. Bill, I
Graduated from Ohio State, BS in Architecture
Then went into the Peace Corps and did Urban Planning and various other things.
Married in Tehran, Iran
Went back to school, Syracuse...Expand for more
University B. Architecture
Moved to Sierra Madre, California.
Spent the last 30 years in private practice in Architecture/engineering.
Currentl I am looking to spend a few more years in the Peace Corps, and waiting for
a country assignment.07/31/11
My biggest surprise was being elected to the City Council, having run on a dare...
I have two adopted daughters, Sarah and Amanda, who never cease to surprise me.
My biggest regret in H.S., was not calling my "crush" for a date.
