In 1967, applied for and received an Engineering position with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA. Worked in their Commercial Mass Properties department for ten years. In 1977, transferred to Sales Engineering, a Sales/Marketing support group within their Commercial Marketing division. omote aircraft sales. In 1997, the Boeing Aircraft Company purchased MDC, as well as many other aviation companies within the US. Later that year, the Long Beach Sales/ Marketing divisions were being closed and relocated to Seattle, WA. Not wanting to relocate, I was able to take an early retirement and did so in November of 1997. I turely had a wonderful career in the aerospace field, and was very fortunite to visit many countries around the world.
