Donna's Story
Hi. I was shy in high school, kind of a wall flower, but that isn't the case now. Back then I was skinny and had long straight dark hair. Let's just say I've changed quite a bit! I hung out in a small group of girls and would like to make contact with them again, and it doesn't seem any of them are listed here. I have done lots of things since leaving high school, held numerous jobs, and have lived in several states. Met my husband the summer we all graduated and married him shortly thereafter. He is six years my senior. We have two children, a boy and a girl, who are now of course grown themselves. I currently have three grandchildren, a girl and two boys. I go by Grandma Donna these days, and I love it!

en married a woman in a bad relationship, he took on two young children after marrying my mom and cared for them as he did me when I came along years later. And, he never treated the three of us differently, which I greatly admired. Dad loved my mom until the day he died. He was an exceptionally gifted person as he could fix just about anything he took apart. A master mechanic by trade and a tinkerer at heart. Dad had a lot of calmness about him, which was quite the opposite of my mom who was high maintenance. Probably what attracted him to her in the first place! What I remember most about him is that he would take the shirt off his back to help anyone, and I'm proud to say that my daughter is a lot like her grandfather. Both are an inspiration to me.
