Donna's Story
Ok, here it is in a nut shell, I graduated from Kellam in 1979, since then, the football team has gone way down hill! I did some college, but at first lost interest, then couldn't afford to finish. I worked a couple of dead end jobs like I'm sure we all did at that age. Then...
I got married to a navy man, he treated me very well, for a while. We had three beautiful boys together. We lived here in Va Beach for a while, then Newport, RI for 5 years, then on to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for 2 and a half years. I loved it there, wish we could have stayed longer. We might still be married! Anyway from there it was on th Louisville, KY, do not go there!! I left him there after a year and moved back to good old Virginia!
My boys, Matthew 24, is off on his own here at the beach. My twins Joshua and Michael are in KY with their dad attending colleg...Expand for more

As for me, I climbed the corporate ladder, stood there for a while, and fell off! I am now beginning my climb again at a low paying job, but these days at least it's a job. My expertise is in inventory control, and receiving, but I'm having no luck in those areas right now, but if anyone hears of anything please let me know.
I lost my father to cancer back in 1997, it was like loosing not only my father, but my best friend. Three years later, my sister took her own life, so now it's just me and mom (and of course the grandkids, and great-grandkids). Mom has had a horrendous 12 months. She survived a brain aneurysm, a mastectomy, and now she's going through chemo. I'm staying with her in the same old house from back in the day.
I would love to hear from anyone and everyone, I miss the old days, they sure were simpler.
