Donna's Story

Life Hi, I am living in nearby Pennsylvania, and working in New Jersey, so I guess I'm still a "Jersey Girl." I would love to hear from anyone at ALJ. I have two boys, both grown; one has a townhouse in nearby Blue Bell, and the other one lives at home with me. We're all single ---no complaints there. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor employed by a New Jersey university. I do for a living what I really love to do. I still see my "Garwood Girlfriends." I get together with Marilyn D, Jean Y, Nancy T, Kathi R, and Cheryl Moroli (oops, she's from Clark) fairly regularly. We went to school together from Kindergarten to 12th grade. It's funny; if you look closely at our kindergarten picture, you can still tell who is who. 11/11/07: I have not logged on in a very long time (Actually, I didn't realize I was still a member. I just happened to notice that Classmates.com is charging me on my credit card, so I just figured out that I am still an active member.) Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so I want to wish everyone a really nice holiday. My sister, Debbie, is cooking for Thanksgiving, so I'll be in Howell. I wanted to cook at my house this year; however, her kids wa...Expand for more
nt to go to their high school football game... My turn to cook is Christmas, then! I went to a really nice wedding last Friday night. My dear friend, Marilyn Dallavalle, has a daughter who just married. Lauren was married at St. Anne's Church in Garwood. The reception was at Il Tulipano in Cedar Grove. All I remember is that they had a Venetian Hour with great pastries! Debby French was at the wedding, another long time friend. She has been married to George Dallavalle, Marilyn's brother, for the past 25 years (or so). Marilyn seated me next to Cheryl Moroli, my buddy since the age of 4. We used to play together long before we started kindergarten. Anyway, it was a great time and it's always fun to see good friends. 11/12/09 Yikes - I haven't written in two years! Actually, I had let my membership lapse, so I didn't log on. So anyone who wrote to me, please forgive me for not acknowledging you. So sorry. I had such a wonderful time at the Class Reunion. It was great seeing faces I hadn't seen in so long. The evening went by so quickly. There were many people I didn't get a chance to talk to. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to put this together.
