Donna's Story
It's hard to believe we've been out of school so long! Let's see....I've been married for 24 1/2 years. My husband, Lon, graduated in '86. We have two children, Steven and Laura. Steven is attending Michigan Tech in Houghton, and Laura attends CMU. They're great kids. Lon and I own a tree service in Allen Park. We've done that for over a decade now and it keeps us both busy. past 11 years I have worked for the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Program doing adult distance education research. I also work in the Gender and Achievement Research program on a 20+ year longitudinal study. It's interesting work and I enjoy it very much. Now that the kids are out of the house, Lon and I enjoy hiking and backpacking, riding our ATV's, and camping. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, reading, and scrap-booking. Life's been good for us.
