I lived in Alaska for a year and a half after high school, in a cabin 22 miles away from anyone. I loved it. I came back to Renton and ended up marrying for 4 years. We both agreed it wasn't a good match and divorced ...Expand for more
amicably. I then went to Japan, Europe and returned to Seattle and met my husband of 23 years. He taught me to ski, we taught kids to ski together. Mike was diagnosed with cancer in November 2012 and lost his battle in January 2013. Its a constant battle to get back to enjoying life.
I am vegan and work at several animal sanctuaries in the area.
