Donna's Story
After graduation I continued to work, for a while I worked full time at one job and part time at another. Eventually I quit both and started working full time at a local bank, first as a Trust clerk, then a new accounts sales person and when I quit I was a vault custodian. I married Benny Johnston in 1980, we built our house in 1983, and I do mean WE built it, that was an experience! We had our first child in 1985, our second in 1988. After 20 years of raising our daughter she married a wonderful guy and once again Benny put on his 'contrators' hat and built them a house, but this time he had our son and new son in law to help. veling, cooking, reading, a good cup of coffee, and the smell of rain....maybe not in that order. And I have a tendancy to enjoy driving a little faster than I should sometimes, but I've only have one accident (since I've been old enough to know how to dodge people) and that wasn't my fault. My dislikes are crowded places, rude people and an unorganized kitchen. The older I get the more I try not to let things bother me, I figure whatever the circumstance it'll change sooner or later and in the long run the important stuff is all I plan to hold onto any way.
