Donna's Story

After graduating from THS, I worked for a year in order to pay for my nursing education.Upon completion, I went to work at the University of Chicago, in the the Operating Room doing open heart surgery. I went on to eventually work as a Director of Surgical Services in several hospitals in the Chicago area. Currently, I work at a suburban ho...Expand for more
spital as a Clinical Educator in Surgery as I'm not ready to retire yet. In 1965, I married my husband Jerry, we'll be celebrating 44 years in July. We have two children and three grandchildren. Currently we enjoy traveling, boating and skiing and keeping up with our family. I look forward to seeing classmates at our H.S Reunion this year.

AORN Chapter General Meeting. Behind these walls, big decisions were made tonight. Thank you everyone for attending, the gifts were donated to the Pediatric Oncology Foundation to be given to children in cancer treatment.
Remember this, AORN Chapter 1406 will be making and selling them as a fundraiser for our organization. They're made out of med bottle caps. We also decided to sell T-Shirts for Surgery Nurses and all who appreciate the logo.
Calling all former Grant Hospital Employees. I received this yesterday for a reunion Dinner Dance on Feb. 15th.
Went to see this show last nite. Absolutely amazing. What a Legacy Curtis Mayfield left for Rock and Roll, and all of us.
Don't complain about the heat! Brrrr!
