Remembering that I always stuck to a small group at school, because I hated the loud obnoxious crowds. I am very embarrassed with the choices I made in high school including the person I dated, it was a huge waste of energy but I got my baby girl out of it, which was my only true blessing. I also regret not getting more involved in school and taking advantage of all that it had to offer to put me on a path for success. I left Elmonte at 18 and moved to the high desert, it was the best thing for both my daughter and I. 2 years later, I met my hubby, where life drastically changed for the better. I'm glad I moved away from Elmonte and all the fighting that I always found myself getting into. I was able to change my way of thinking, and improved my life.
