Laid off after 11 great years with the same company, I am enter my encore career I continue consulting in the medical occupational/human resource and risk management services, my previous career for over twenty years. Like many who are forced to change careers at 60 years of age, I have taken a leap of faith to combine my interests and talents. Full Service Agent and Guide: Walkabout Adventure Travel has taken me to New Zealand and OZ (2007), Peru, (2009), Costa Rica, early 2010, and to Greece/Turkey , Fall 2010. I so enjoyed being an assistant guide during previous travels that I am interning as a travel agent/guide under the direction of Dave Duncan, the owner of Walkabout Adventure Travel, Lakewood, Colorado. Walkabout has organized around the world tour groups for almost seventeen years. I am currently doing research and making travel arrangements for several future trips (groups and individuals). I put a Proposal into Project C.U.R.E for International Travel Director that may turn into volunteerism/philanthropy travel.
