Donna's Story
Life
Life has been interesting, to say the least. Have lived thru volumes, if only I could take time to write them.
Workplace
Started out working as supervisor in newborn nursery, and air flight private duty for patients flying to Mayo Clinic from IN.
Raised 5 children while working in our funeral home business and operating area ambulance service. While doing this did volunteer work as a nurse in the county, in teaching and training first aid in rural health, and organizing health clinics.
After divorced, worked as Director of...Expand for more
Nursing in nursing homes and then for Red Cross blood collection as trainer and charge nurse for blood drives in southern IN, IL and northern KY.
After moving to Atlanta, GA worked for the Alzheimers Asso, as Director of their day care program.
The last 12 years, did crisis management, teaching and training as a nurse management consultant in IN,IL,& MI.
Retired early, and returned to IL to take care of elderly parents.
Have pretty much "been there and done that". :-)
