Donna's Story
Life
Hi classmates.
After HS I attended and graduated from IU --Bloomington. I have lived in various parts of the country: Illinois, Inidiana, Texas, California, and now Arizona.
I have two terrific daughters who bring me joy daily and challenges occasionally. We have a stupid but cute dog, a very smart cat that opens doors, a comfy house, and fabulous friends.
Life has given me ups and downs but mostly it is and has been good to me. I hope it has been good to you. I would love to hear from my old school mates to learn what paths you took and where you are now.
School
Hi to all current and former Boonies, Go Wolves!
Thanks to all the great teachers in my life, especially Mrs. Bush and Mr. Aplin. I haven't changed much but have grown more confident. I am very into fitness and look forward to the next reunion. Hope to hear from some of my old school friends.
College
Indiana University, Bloomington brings me warm memories of good times and great friends.
What was IU like from 1976 to 1980? Games and music at the Bluebird and Nick's English Hut. Big Red Football (they lost), and Hurrying Hoosiers Basketball (they won, they won, th...Expand for more
ey won). Bobby Knight hiding his temper. 25 cent beer and all the popcorn you could eat night at Oscars. Johnny Cougar and John Mayall rocking Oscars on a Thursday night. Dicky Betts and the Allman Bros Band at memorial hall. Bare butts at the reservoir bobbing on air mattresses. Brown County in the fall painted in reds, yellows, greens, and browns. Morel mushrooms on the side of steep hills. Quarries to swim and Kenny diving off the top of Long Hole. Breaking Away and the Little 500. My bike parked in Bear's place and Russian satellites falling from the sky.
My dear friends: Teresa and Tom, Jerome and the B52s, Kenny, Bruce, Denise, Gail, Sarah and her big white dog, Trish, Karen, Sergey my sledding buddy, Jim, Shane, Lynn, BJ, and even my ex Bart for that wild food fight. IU was magic for me then. May its limestone buildings be here another millennia.
Workplace
Hi,
I have been in the insurance industry for a while and am doing fine... I started out working for the best advertising agency and then ran my own art gallery. I hope to hear from old friends from N.W. Ayer and SAT.... Cathy, David, Mark and Suebee are you out there?
