Donna's Story
Here's my story and I'm sticking to it!
All kidding aside, instead of graduating from Ga. State, I (gasp) got married in my junior year. For the next 29 years, I followed my railroad executive husband all over the South, taking care of children and becoming "Mrs. PTA." Finally, we relaized that our mtach wasn't made in heaven. This happened right around our 30th RSH reunion which is why you didn't see me there.
Although we weren't a good match, we were great parents and have a daughter and son to prove it. My daughter, Shannon, is a bio-medical engineer in Memphis, TN. My son, Brian, and his wife have recently moved to Jacksonville, Fla. where he works in the railroad indsutry. And, they have my precious 8-month-old Anna.

ing. I can say that my 50's have been the best years of my life. I met my soulmate, Alan, a Western man (or as my mother says, "a foreigner") in 2000. We married and relocated to Tucson, Arizona where I started a career as a freelance writer. I write non-fiction articles for magazines, newspapers and the web. My specialty is travel, although I enjoy profiles and inspirational stories too.
I write a blog about active travel for baby boomers called My Itchy Travel Feet (Google mytichytravelfeet and you'll find it). Please stop by to check it out. Feel free to post a comment or ask questions about travel.
So, who all is coming to the reunion? It's a long way for me to come but I'm working on it. Hope to see you there.
I LOVE Arizona. No more curly hair!
