Donna's Story
Hi all - I worked around the State of AK, mostly in Fairbanks, but also my home village of Evansville, AK and McGrath, AK. I've been married twice and have one son and a "winter" daughter. I love it in McGrath - had a good job, cute cabin and all the village toys, i.e., snowmachine, motorcycle and 3 wheeler. But, here I am living in Chesapeake, VA (who knew?), happily married to a sweetheart of a man I met online playing cards (again,who knew? hahaha). ...Expand for more
My son lives in Denver, CO and my daughter lives close to me here in VA. I have 5 grandkids and 1 great-granddaugher with 2 more on the way. Amazingly, I don't think of myself as being old enough for all that. LOL Feel young at heart and in my head . . . it's the body that's giving up the ghost. Why didn't our parents tell us of these aches and pains? Well, I am really quite happy and would love to hear from fellow grads of '70 who may remember me.
