Donna's Story
After high school I went to beauty school and had my license until a few years ago. I married a navy man and saw a bit of the world. Spent two years in Morocco, Africa, and some time in Hawaii. After we divorced I spent 21 years as a foster parent. Along with my four children I fostered over 100 other children. I adopted two of them and they are still...Expand for more
at home. One is 22 and the other is 14. Now I go to Oxnard College 3/4 time and work part time in the college president's office helping his executive assistant. I keep pretty busy most of the time and enjoy every minute of it as I didn't get the chance to go to college after high school. Maybe I'll retire when I can no longer get around, who knows.
