Donna's Story
The prospect of catching up on over 30 years in one blog is a bit overwhelming.
After graduation in 1974, I enlisted in the Air Force for four years. 21 years later, I retired as a captain!
In 1975, I married Mark Denico. We divorced in 1982. I met Kevin Glass in 1987 and we were married in September of 1988 (yep, we're coming up on the 20th anniversary!) Kevin and I have two sons, David, 18, and Michael, 16. they are great kids yet there have been challenges in raising them (isn't that true for raising any kids?)
After I retired in 1995, I became a stay-at-home mom, available for driving the shuttle and volunteering as needed. For the past two and a half months, I have been working on using up all of my accrued vacation and medical leave time (not by choice!) I had surgery to remove a brain tumor six weeks ago, on 6/20/08. I made it to the 10th class reunion but wasn't at the 20th or 30th. Had planned on taking the winery tour, but something came up (don't remember what) and we had to cancel. I don't know if we'll make it to the Happening on September 27th but I'll be thinking of everyone.
