Donna's Story
Life
I am married to Richard Ponder and have been for 30 years this October 2007. I was married in 1965 to Charles Schoenfeld from Belle Glade and divorced from Charles in 1977. We had three children - Steven Charles Schoenfeld, who we lost in a drowning accident in Nov. 1987, Tanya Lynn Dyess Steadly, and Brian Schoenfeld. Tanya lives in Labelle with Gary Millicevic and she had our four grandchildren ( Travis Dyess, Tara Dyess, Chelsea Steadly and Lacie Steadley) Tara had our first great granddaughter, Jayden Ania. e has redone from top to bottom. We were in a bad auto accident in 2003 but the lord blessed us and we are here today, a little handicapped but alive and enjoying our kids and grandkids.
Workplace
I am a production scheduler/paper purchaser (catchy huh) for US Sugar Refinery. I schedule what products we will package such as Winn Dixie , Publix, Food Lion, etc. and order all the packaging materials to package our refined sugar in as well as keep up with the inventory. It is a very challenging and rewarding job.
I always wanted to be a airline stewardess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a nutty idea. As it turns out, they were right.
