Donna's Story
After graduating Northgate, I went to DVC for 2 years. I then transferred to Sacramento State University and lived in Sacramento for 4 years. I majored in Communications, and minored in Psychology. I was active the the Alpha Phi sorority and lived in the dorms for awhile. I was actually a lot more social than I was in highschool. I had a great time in college! For 1 year after that, I worked as a cocktail waitress at El Torito.
Then I moved back to Walnut Creek and also lived in San Ramon, Danville,Los Gatos and Pleasanton. I ended up eventually selling packaging products in the Silicon Valley for awhile.
In 1999 I got into the Mortgage industry. Then in 2000 I married Mike Gerard who graduated from De La Salle. I moved to southern california.
We were married for 4 years, but divorced in 2004. I still live in Southern California, but I do miss the Bay Area. The 49er's will always be my team, and I will always love San Fransisco. I...Expand for more
never had a real desire to have children. I do love animals and have 3 cats that are my babies. In 2004, the choice to have kids got taken away from me anyway because of health reasons. I also have really struggled with skin cancers that I have had cut out. I guess I never was really made for the sun!
I am in a relationship with a great guy who has a daughter. My company closed in 2008 and since then I have been doing various things for commission. It has been tough. The job market out here is not so great. But I have my house so it is hard to leave. Right now I am doing loan modifications for people,credit repair, and can do loans if they want to purchase and can qualify. I may start doing Real Estate as well. We will see. I am reinventing myself at this point. My mission is to never grow old and be forever young!! I also really like helping people and animals! You never know, I may end up back in the Bay Area eventually. We will see
