Donna's Story
After graduation, joined army and served 20 years Upon retiring started working in the education field teaching our special needs students .diagnosed with autism and/or emotional behaviors .Besides getting to travel all over the world, it's the classroom where I am most happy to be. I try to make a trip home every year in the summer, but among COVID, I found myself teaching summer school past few years , but always good to return to the Valley . I...Expand for more
retired from Ft Stewart , Ga where I proudly paid off on a house last year. I am 45 minutes from Jacksonville or Hilton Head. Although the South has one season, I really do miss the snow around wintertime. I have 5 grown children, 7 grand babies who are my world, and countless number of teens who have adopted me as their "mom" in the high school where I work. I want to say I am excited to be here and hope I can connect with some old friends here
