Donna's Story
Life
Ah, where to start....Got married in 1982 and had 2 children lived in Warwick the entire time. As life goes, in 2000 I divorced (actually seperated in 1997)and moved to New Port Richey Florida with the kids and my parents for a new start. We were about 1 hour north of Clearwater. My Mom passed away in 2004 of cancer and my dad passed Christmas day 2005 of kidney failure among other things. I miss them dearly. My kids are my life. My son Brian is now 24. My daughter Laura is 21 and is an office manager for a Drs office in Florida. Brian and I recently moved to Colorado Springs, CO for a new change. The mountains are beautiful. My daughter is getting married in May 2009 in Florida, her husband is in the army in Missouri and as luck will have it, he is going to be stationed at Fort Carson, right here in Colorado Springs, so my family will be together again. Time for grandkids now!!I must include my cocker spaniel, for she is like one of my kids, and the crazy cat, Tweak! Life is good and I'm quite happy although I do miss a lot of people in RI and Florida. I do miss Friendly's ice cream, the Han Palace and the Islander chinese food, Del's lemonade, the sunsets on the Gulf of Mexico and Sonny's. On the plus side, I've got some great people here.
