Donna's Story
Life
After I graduated from JCSHS, I went to college in Massachusetts. I majored in Sociology. I got married in 1980 to a man from Connecticut. I met him at college. We lived on the East coast until 1995. Sadly, we decided the marriage wasn't working any more, so I packed up my kids and moved to Utah that same year. I'm not Mormon; I moved here because of a friend, and later, we got married!
Since high school, I've traveled a lot. I've been in and through 43 states, and even spent a day in Mexico! I've enjoyed seeing the United States, and hope to see all 50 states.
I am the mother of four: Rob, 30, Celeste, 28, Russ, 26, and Lauren, 15. I am a grandmother of 3 boys, and that's why I die my hair! I own 4 purebred Dachshunds: Jock Kewstow, Shelli Snowflake, ...Expand for more
Tiffany Two Face, and Osker Meyer. My wonderful husband Tom worked in a management position with the Internal Revenue Service, but sadly died in August of 2012. So I am a widow at age 55.
Cheryl Petty Ferguson is my agent, but before I hooked up with her, I was blessed to have 6 books published: 4 romance novels, 1 nonfiction book, titled, "Don't Call Me African American", and 1 children's book, "Jared's Adventure". You can find them all on Amazon.com.
In my spare time, I sew, crochet, and make wedding gowns for porcelain dolls. I also do some TV and movie work. I was an extra on the hit show, "Everwood" for 3 years. It was shot in Utah. I've had the pleasure of meeting a lot of movie stars. Most of them are nice, and they're almost always smaller in person.
