Life We took advantage of the "Sellers Market" in real estate and made a killing on our home in Whittier and moved to the Hi Desert where we have our dream home on an acre of land where we can enjoy our favorite pastime of gardening and raising German Shepherds. I have been married to my best friend for 35 years. Have successfully raised a son & daughter thru the teenage years (only time I ever thought of justifiable homocide!)am very proud of the responsible adults they have become in spite of having been raised by me (& their step-dad!). After surviving the 70's & 80's, I am enjoying life as a "normal" person. Finally have 2 granddaughters from my daughter. My son & daughter-in-law just adopted 3 little girls, ages 2 1/2, 1 1/2 & 5 mos. old, all sisters from the same birth mom....a real blessing! It's nice having grandkids close...daughter lives in northern CA so I only get to see them a few times a year. So...Expand for more
