Donna's Story
Life
I married Louis Simmons Jr. in 1989 and we have two children, Matthew age 19 and Molly age 12. I studied dance in college. After college, I taught dance and performed with dance companies for awhile. At the same I worked as a waitress. Wanting something different, I went back to college and got certified as a teacher. I've been an elementary school teacher for the last 22 years. My son graduated in 2008 and is currently working and enjoying time...Expand for more
with his girlfriend and friends. I'm glad that I enjoyed every minute of the little league baseball games, karate classes, and bowling leagues he was in through the years. I can't believe he's grown so fast. When my daughter was 3 years old, I began teaching dance part time again and for the next four years she was my favorite student. Though I no longer teach dance, she still dances. These days, I try to keep things simple and right now life is good!
