Donna's Story
I have been married for 46 years to Richard. We have 2 sons, 45 & 43. The older son has our 2 grandsons, 9 & 11 and the younger son has our 2 granddaughters, 17 & 19. Hard to believe our oldest granddaughter will be starting her 3rd year in Emerson University in Boston. They grow up so fast! We have lived in Irvine for 41 years.
My husband is retired from 45 years with the phone company and I stayed home raising the boys until they got into Jr. High and then worked as a clerk in the school system. When they were in High School they both got jobs at Disneyland in the parade...Expand for more
s. So I thought I would give it a try. I worked as a secretary in security for 4 years and then 6 mos. in Publicity. My daughter-in-law asked if I would like another job - babysitting my granddaughters. I quit and did that until they were out of grade school.
The boys are now executives with Disney Imagineering.
I now work for a Non-Profit as a volunteer Secretary. We deal with educating in Domestic Violence & healthy relationships.
I am really enjoying connecting with Santiago High Alumni and old neighbors besides the ones I am close to. I feel like we are all still 18.
