Donna's Story
Life
In 1972 Steve Halter & I married. I worked for Pacific Telephone. we were divorced 1979. In May 1981 I moved to Roswell NM to marry my penpal Dan Davis. Our daughter, Amanda, was born May 25, 1982 and our son, Sean, Aug. 24, 1985. Sean was diagnosed March 1989 with a rare type of leukemia and died Jan. 25, 1991. It broke my heart. 1 1/2 yrs. later we adopted 7 yr old Danny. He is handicapped. her 4th year of college and Danny will be a senior in high school next fall in a program for handicapped adults. My husband works for the Fed. Gov. Social Security Admn. I am an Artist (pottery mainly) and an avid gardener. We have 4 cats and a bunch of fish. I still love Books and have hundreds of them. I also love movies and esp. Lord of the Rings. I love living in Roswell. It's about half the size of Burbank and in the middle of nowhere. Currently I am involved with Alianza, and I make the plates for their fundraiser which rases money for people with HIV/AIDS.
