My Kids
I have two wonderful sons. Robbie, 21, loves sports and always gets on the honor roll. He'll be graduating from college next month. Jay, 32, graduated from U of Hawaii in Hilo with majors in Aquaculture and Marine Biology. He was in the Peace Corps in the Philippines for 2 1/2 years helping the people in a small town set up a Marine Sanctuary, do reforestation of the mangroves, train fishermen in setting up fisheries and other helpful endeavors. He now has his Masters of Education and Curriculum in Mississippi and is teaching high school Biology. I have a 2 year old grandson in Mississippi also. I want them all to move back as soon as Jay can get a teaching job here.

My Interests
I enjoy playing softball and outdoor volleyball. My sons and I travel as often as possible. I love musicals, movies, and sunsets at the beach.
Update January 2015
I just retired after 45 years of teaching in various venues, 32+ in public schools as a classroom teacher.
My sons have grown. Jay, 38, is back in CA with his three kids and is the head of the science department at the San Jacinto Indian School. I love having my grandchildren close by. My son Rob, 27, has a BS in Criminal Justice and is working in security, while he is back in school to become a Physician's Assistant. He is married to a wonderful woman from Brazil. I am enjoying retirement by traveling, playing softball, volunteering, sub teaching and spending more time with my family and friends.
