I've had a crazy life since school. I got married at 18 and moved to San Bernardino. I was too young and he was wasn't sure what he was looking for. The two didn't mix, so I came back to Marina and stayed with my parents for a bit. Moved in with my older brother and his wife Olivia for about 6 months and then moved back to the parents house again. Got a job in Pacific Grove at the Bob's Big Boy and moved in with another employee near the ocean in PG. I didn't know how good I had it, when I had it. Anyway, the girl I was roommates with started not paying her half of the rent and you guessed it, I moved back in with the parents again. I got another job working at the Old San Carlos hotel in downtown Monterey. Loved, loved it. We partied almost every night and I made really good money. I applied for a job at the Fort Ord NCO club and worked both jobs for a while until the hotel closed. I hated to see it shut down. I worked in the dining room at the club and that's where I met my current husband Garry. I had an apartment in Salinas and soon moved to seaside. My husband was in the army. His divorce wasn't final yet, but he took me to Germany with him anyway. We did get married in 1986 and went to Germany a total of three times. We've also lived in Lawton, ok, Ft Leonardwood, MO and Barstow , CA. We have two kids. A daughter 18 and a son 16. We also have a grandbaby named Nevaeh and she's 19 months old. Since I got R.I.F.ed from civil service in Barstow and my husband's company lost their contract, we moved with the old company here to North Carolina. I started working for the same company at the ammunition supply point at Fort Bragg. I left my job in March to send my daughter back to school to get her education and learn to support her daughter. So that's where I'm at now. Not glamorous or exciting, but I'm pretty happy. We would loved to come back west one of these days. We love the desert. I a...Expand for more
