Donny's Story
In brief, after graduation in 1960 from Southwest High School, I began working and attending college at night. During those years, I was a meter-reader for the Atlanta Water Works, and then a real-property appraiser for the Atlanta-Fulton County Tax Assessors.
In 1964, I joined the Navy Reserve and was stationed at the Naval Air Station (NAS) in Atlanta. Later my squadron moved to Jacksonville, from where I was called to active duty and sent to Cam Rahn Bay, Vietnam. I was in "Special Operations" and an aircrew member in a VP patrol and bomber squadron.
After Vietnam, I returned to college and graduated from Georgia State University in 1971. It wasn't easy, but I managed to cram four...Expand for more

Now retired (I was a real estate appraiser, builder,and a mortgage fraud investigator), my beautiful wife, Marie, my wonderful daughter, Kathleen, and I live happily in Douglasville, GA.
Marie attended Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, where she graduated "magna cum laude" with degrees in Education (primary and secondary) and in Physical Science. After many years as an educator, she is now retired.
Kathleen graduated from Chapel Hill High School in Douglasville and then attended Gordon College in Barnesville, GA. on a soccer scholarship. She is currently a Certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutritiousness at Gold's Gym in Douglasville.
