Bill Donovan:  

We've now been in Louisville two years. I'm still in phased retirement, enjoying teaching and very much enjoying the absence of department meetings and university committee work. I'm taking the fall off to hopefully finish a book. Much of my active life consists of acting the role of spouse to the University's president. It's a much more active social life than to what I've been accustomed but apart from what socializing has done to my waistline it's been all good. Otherwise I try to ride my motorcycle as much as possible. One of my daughters will be attending Duke Law School in the fall while the other finishes up her undergraduate degree. They have turned out to be fine young women. My wife is doing very well as university president she just won the award as most admired educator in Louisville. I'm reason...Expand for more
