Dora's Story
Life
I live outside of Troy now, I am married and have 4 children and 10 grandchildren who keep us busy, oh yes have #11 on the way. My husband and I do some traveling now since he retired from Goodyear, some of you might know him, his name is Harvey McEwen he was a supervisor in final finish for several years. I would really enjoy hearing from anyone I went to school with, it is fun finding out how much we have all changed over the years, so if you like to e-mail me you can do so through classmates.
Well #11 arrived Feb.24th, her name is Grayce Jane McEwen, she is the daughter of Matthew and Ashley and the sister of Lillian Faith McEwen 3yrs. Lilly has already helped to spoil her baby sister and enjoys telling everyone about her.
I haven't heard from anyone else from the list of classmates so far, hope you will feel free to share some facts about your family with me. ng together and having lunch and visiting.
Pat has had a bout with illness, but we are hoping she will be good as new in no time.
Pat and I would really like to hear from some of you and maybe get together sometime for a luncheon or maybe a shopping spree, who knows what we could think of to do.
Harvey and I have decided to stay closer to home this summer and try our hand at having another garden, we took last year off so we are ready to go at it again.
Harvey has also discovered he likes to duck hunt and he and some of his buddies are in the process of building themselves a new and better blind than they had last year, I don't see how the one last year had all the comforts of home. I am watching my appliances, tv's and dvd players very close, so they want end up in this blind.
We have a large pond on our place if anyone likes to fish, we would love to see you come and enjoy it. There have been some really nice bass and crappie caught out of it and we let anyone fish that wants to as long as they don't leave their trash behind.
