Dorcas's Story
Life
My husband, Gay, and I have been married for 25 years and live in Marshall. I don't have any children, but have 2 Yorkies, Maggie and Molly, that think they fit that description. We were co-owners of a wholesale distribution business and sold it 2 years ago and are now retired and taking life easy. Gay is a CPA and still does some accounting and taxes. I have worked as an underwriter for a financial institution, done computer software installations for businesses and trained their employees and am now a housewife, which is my favorite job of all. nd now have more time to do that. I am the Assistant Tour Director for a tour group out of Jefferson and have traveled to a lot of places with a wonderful group of people. Our church is a very important part of our lives. I love to sing and am on the "Praise Team" and also involved in a lot of other aspects there. I love people and volunteer for various things when the opportunity presents itself. Life has been good and if I can make it a little better for someone else, I always enjoy doing so. I always enjoy running into former classmates and catching up with what's going on in their lives.
