DOREEN's Story
I started school out at Pasadena Elementary. From there I attended FOLGER MCKINSEY, SAINT JOHNS, SEVERNA PARK HIGH, NORTHEAST HIGH for 1 year and then back to SEVERNA PARK for my senior year.
Married right out of high school. Had my son, Danny in December of 1969 and my daughter, Susan in May of 1971. Sad to say we lost Susan to cancer in June 2009. She had three daughters. At the time of her death two were still living. We lost one of her daughter's, Whitney, to a drunk driver just one month short of her third birthday. d I are living together. I have been retired still 2011. At the time of my retirement I was working at Midsouth Building Supply Company in purchasing and receiving. I was with the company for 37 years. When I started with the company it was called United Wholesale. It changed names and owners 3 times in that time, but I was kept on.
I've traveled to Alaska, Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Michigan,and Maine in the United States and have traveled to the islands of St. Lucia, Jamaica, Antigua, and Aruba.
At this time I have 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Expecting a 6th great grandchild on April 10th.
