Life
I joined the Army right after high school. Great experience. Since then, I have lived in Colorado, Texas, Germany, Alabama and I now reside on Long Island. I have two step daughters and two grandchildren that I can call my own (great kids). My husband is a retired Army helicopter pilot and now drives a train for the Long Island Railroad. Military
Joined the Army in 1983 and did basic training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. From there I did AT at Lowry A.F.B. in Denver, Colorado. My first duty station was...uggh...Ft. Hood, Texas. I'd say that Ft. Hood is the arm pit of the universe, but no one would believe me (LOL). Did a stint in Mannheim, Germany, Ft. Rucker, Alabama and back to Germany, Neurenburg this time. Back to the states and ending it all at Ft. Drum, New York.
