Doria's Story
Life
I didn't go to Mt. View, but went to Wy'East Jr. High. Alot of you didn't know me, some did. I was very quiet, and kept to myself most the time because most of you were mean to me (Wy'East Jr. High), which was only part of the reason I dropped out in my 4th day in 9th grade and hopped on a bus to Portland. The other part I dropped out was that I could just never figure out what the big deal was with being with the "IN" crowd, whatever the hell that meant. It's sad no one there could accept people for WHO they were instead of what they wore or didn't wear. Too many self centered and naive people at that school, I needed to get the hell outta there and it I don't regret it. Wish I could go back in time tho, you wouldn't have even given me the evil eye. I was lost for a long time. I lived all over the place, Portland, parts fo CA, and even Phoenix, AZ. I now live in Southern CA again. I was first married in 1994, divorced by '97. He was a real winner, a true wife beater and cheater! He had a whole different life separate from ours, a child and everything. I have a son from that disgusting marriage, he's 13 years old, now. He's awesome!!! I got remarried in October of 2003 (another mistake-long story!) and divorced by August 2007! I was my own attorney and did a pretty dam good job of it, too. He was another winner, this one was an addict and he chose to live that life than be with me and his sweet little boy, who's now 3 years old. You can look up my recent ex under JEFF TRIBBY and it shows all the details of his pathetic life and what he did to me. I put him away for a year and a half in state prison!
School (started Jr. High at Wy'East in 1981 or 1980).
Well, in 1985, when the 80's were really hot then, I ended up going to High School in Ventura, a place called California Youth Authority for over three years. Not a normal school, more like a junior prison. Couldn't drop out of there! lol! When released from there and going through a year of hell, I went to a technical school in Phoenix, AZ for a year in computers for a year. I stayed in AZ tho for 4 years because I ended up liking it there. Been back in Cali since 93 now.

College
All I remember at my Technical school in Phoenix (Mt. States) is party, party, party! It wasn't a dorm situation, so no roomies. But, I had a blast while I was there. Did pretty good in my classes, actually, and made some friends some of which I lost contact with and hope to find on here! I have to say that was the ONLY time I was ever really happy. Arizona is a different state, different people and just better. Too hot tho!
Workplace
Mostly doing data entry for different companies.
I know there was too much detail in this story, but to tell you the truth, it really isn't, considering the story I started writing in 1985. I'm still writing it today, and love to write, and like to write short stories on things I've been through without putting my name or names of people I knew for protection. But, it keeps staying interesting. Write me if ya think ya know me and I'll answer any questions...Hope everyone else is doing alright and hope none of you feel the need to judge me by all this. Won't bother me, beause someday I will have a book out there that will pretty much express alot of you that were in that school. The teen years are the toughest, and I couldn't do it at school anymore. I went to the streets where I knew I wouldn't be judged. Do I regret it? Well, when I was younger I did, but looking back at the wodnerful kids I have out of all this, I no longer regret my choices in the path I chose--not to say that was a horrible choice, just a choice that I chose to see where life would take me....everyone asks you, "So, what are your plans?" Answer is, "To be surprised...." Beause life is full of surprises! You can't predict what happens to you, but it depends on what you do with what comes your way...in other words.........."All the events in your life are there because you've drawn there, what you choose to do with them is up to you..." -Richard Bach (Famous writer) Read his books along with others....they're words of wisdom and they help a lot! I hope you have all been having a good life, even the ones who weren't very nice to to me (you probably don't remember) but that was then, life's too short......God Bless....
