Doris's Story
Remember me? Long brown hair to my butt, member of the Spanish club and worked in NYC for almost 5yrs as a hair colorist. I moved to California in 1981.
I live in California with my two awesome kids. One is away in college and the other is only 1 year from college. I'll be an empty nester soon! I'm excited for my kids to have the opportunity to experience living away from home and figuring out what they want out of life and how to navigate in that direction.
As for me, I'm looking forward to the opportunity to do my own growing, traveli...Expand for more
ng, meeting new people, old friends and seeing new places. I hope to be able to travel back to NY more often.
I have been divorced for almost 5 years now and very happy. I get along with my ex-husband and my kids are the better for it. I don't believe in holding & carrying negative feelings around, Life is too short for that. I read a great book that put things in perspective when I was going through my divorce.
