Doreen's Story

Life My Kids I have two boys and one girl: Duane - 37 who is deceased, Brian - 36 and Doralynn 32. I have 10 grandchildren. Duane has 2 boys, ages 19 and 16. Duane II is currently attending Harford Community College and plans to study archeology. Dominic attends Harford Christian School. Duane was divorced. Unfortunately, he passed away November 23, 2007 due to a severe infection. He suffered a stroke to his spinal cord January 1999 rendering him an incomplete quadriplegic. Duane also had type 1 diabetes and high blood pressure. Before Duane suffered a stroke he was an Emergency Dept. Technician at Sinai Hospital and a Volunteer EMT with Jopppa Magnolia. My daughter and I cared for Duane until his death. He is loved and missed very much. Brian has a boy, age 17 and 3 girls - ages 14, 11 and 9. n has a girl, Courtney, who is 13 going on 22 (lol) and a set of twins - Jordan and Kaytlin, ages 9. Courtney is very active in soccer and was selected to join junior varsity soccer at Aberdeen High in the fall. She currently is playing softball. Jordan plays baseball for Belcamp and Kaytlin also plays soccer. Dora and her children live with me She is a teacher with Celebree Learning Center. I live in a small waterfront community in Perryman, MD, Harford County. I finally bought my first home at the age of 48. Its very peaceful and quiet here. I am semi-retired. I care for a 14 month old little boy whose mom is a friend of my daughter's from middle school. Alex is a delight and keeps me feeling young. I have two mini daschunds, Chloe and Raven and a kitty named Tinkerbell. My passions are reading, gardening, gambling in Atlantic City and Las Vegas and playing Club Pogo games. My dream is to one day live in Ocean City, MD.
