Dorothy (Dolly)'s Story

Life My husband of 17 years, Ken, and I live in New Haven, Indiana with our white Siberian Husky, Sparky. We blended families. We have a blended family of 11 children, 30 grandchildren and 10 great grand children. We go broke, but have lots of fun at Christmas. We love to camp. Ken owns his own business. I still sing--in the church choir and solos. Workplace I am a music teacher at Abbett Elementary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are a Title 1 school. The kids are great. 1/3 white, 1/3 black, and 1/3 Hispanic and other cultures. One of my students auditioned and won a place in the training choir of the Fort Wayne Children's Choir. I've done other teaching, but this has really been fun. March 2011. I have been retired from teaching since June 2010. I have been busier now then I ever was. We have been helping pass out bread to the needy and other things that they may need. ...Expand for more
It is great to be able to help others. The time gives me the chance to have dinner or breakfast with friends or family (most grown grand children, church friends, oh, yeah, and my husband, Ken.) Still have the husky although he is much older now (14 years). Would love to hear from old friends. November, 2012 As of the 10th of this month we have been married 22 years. Doesn't see that long. Our husky died and we went to the Allen County SPCA and got another dog. He is a miniature schnauzer. Name is Buddy and is a real handful to keep up with. We are tryng to sell our 5 acre home. So if you know anyone. We live on Hartzell, just south of Moeller Rd. Still singing and teaching Sunday school. Family dynamics are about the same--just a few more great grand children. Almost more gr, gr. ids than I can remember their names. (That is bad) HOPE TO SEE ALL OF YOU AT THE RENUNION.
