Dorothy's Story
At Excelsior, I played the flute, was in speech and debate, and studied hard (or was that hardly?)
I graduated from UC Irvine and joined the Air Force. I was mostly in computers, but added communications my last 10 years. I retired from the AF 15 or so years ago.
I still work in computers and communications. I had an unbelievable job for 5 years -- I visited Antarctica twice and even got to go to the South Pole. My other jobs were a bit more normal.
Married in San Antonio, it didn't take, so after 16 years, we divorced in Denver. No children.

. I have some family here, and was able to get work here, so here is where I am.
I've traveled through western Europe and the South Island of New Zealand.
I enjoy travel, dogs and reading.
I am anxious to hear from old friends.
In Jan 2009, I was able to take a trip of a lifetime. I cruised the Antarctic Peninsula on board the National Geographic Explorer. The weather was great, and we made it the furthest South of any of the 14 day cruises that year. I had to save my camera from a curious penguin, who was quite sure that my camera would look great as a rock in his nest.
