Dorothy's Story
I am Dorothy (Sandoval) O'Dwyer and, after my husband John got laid off in California, we moved from Canyon Country to Gautier, Mississippi 1994.
In 2005, we were affected by Hurricane Katrina, although we had evacuated to Florida with my mother-in-law. Before Katrina, we were living in the 3rd house from the Gulf of Mexico and, after Katrina, we moved a couple of miles furth...Expand for more
er inland from the gulf then, in 2011, to Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
We have 3 girls: Sheila teaches high school in California, Colleen is married and works in London, England, and Maureen is married and lives in Mississippi and has our only grandchild. I retired from the local Library in 2008 and my husband is also retired but we run a health-related business out of the home.
