Dorothy's Story
Hi- After graduating LHS in 1966, i went to Clarion State until 1968. The summer of 1968, i worked at the Jersey shore where I met a lifeguard in Margate by the name of John David Smith. After a whirlwind romance, we were married in September of 1968. I continued my education out in Iowa where he was attending school, and I was graduated with a degree in English. We lived in Cranford, Nj until 2002...my husband had a sudden job change in 2001...ÃÂæhe was on the 78th floor of 1 WTC on 9/11. He relocated to Philadelphia and we moved to Washington Crossing, PA after that. However, I continued to teach in the public school system in NJ as a high school English teach...Expand for more
er, until my retirement in 2009. (Wouldn't Mr. Little be surprised!) Since 2009, I have spent my time playing tennis just about every day. I have taken up golf and take bridge lessons. (7 No Trump, anyone?) I also enjoy spending my time in the morning working on the NYTimes crossword puzzle over that second cup of coffee. In the warmer months, we enjoy gardening, eating as many meals as possible outside, and biking along the Delaware Canal. I have tried to eradicate stress from my life.
I do not have any children, but I do have two cats at the present time. Their names are Mokey and Tater.
