Dorothy's Story
After high school I attended college in CT, graduating with my bachelors in Biology in 1988. In 1989, I joined the Peace Corps, embarking on what would be an amazing two year adventure during which I taught math and physical science at a beautiful school for girls in Malawi, East Africa. York. We have three children: 19, 16 and 12, run a busy, small town law practice and are trying to put the finishing touches on our straw bale home - which we love. We've just returned from several months in Africa, a deeply satisfying trip back to Malawi with an excursion into Zambia and a month of volunteering for me and my eldest as well. Strange how it's possible to shrink nearly thirty years down into one short paragraph, but there you have it.
