My Spouse
We met through mutal friends who decided we would be perfect for each other. I had just gotten out a very serious relationship and had no intention of dating anyone for a long time. After I finally agreed to at least meet Bob, I really didn't like him at all and kept telling my friends that he wasn't my type. But he had decided I was his type and he spent a lot of time calling me and asking me out until I agreed to dinner and a show just to get it over with. I ended up getting to like him and eventually falling in love with him. As they say, the rest is history and we will be married 25 years in March.
My Pets
We have a black lab/retriever mix named BJ, and Astro who was a cute little puppy and turned out to be part hound and we think part horse because he is huge,...Expand for more
and then there is Onyx who was a very very abused rot/lab puppy that my daughter and her boyfriend rescued and is the sweetest dog we have ever had. Then we have a hampster who is going on 4 years old and refuses to die, a 55 gallon aquarium of tropical fish, and we have 2 lizards that the kids decided I needed in my office to keep me company while I worked. Then there is my mid-life crisis gift to myself which is my quarter horse. Since my daughter is a horse trainer I decided that it was about time I had a horse too.
My Kids
Diane is a horse trainer and is finishing up college to be a history teacher. Mike is about done with his freshman year and all he wants is drivers ed. so he can give me even more gray hairs (Like Diane and her camero don't give me enough of that already).
