Dorothy's Story
Life
Life has been wonderful since high school. I married my soul mate, and I have kept my dreams of showing / breeding / and training Arabian horses alive for all these years. Our oldest daughter, Clarissa has completed college and married a very nice young man in the Army. He has been to Baghdad and back, and is now over there again. They have started their own Arabian farm and it has been a hoot showing against her. We have four full time employees now at the farm and I am working (just to be working) at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville. ge before starting her career in Criminal Justice. She is still shows for us on occassion as our Junior Exhibitor. Our 16 year old son, Mark, plays Varsity Basketball for his school, and is also our Junior Exhibitor at the shows. He is planning on attending Texas A & M.
We own La Bonita Arabian Farm in Plantersville, Texas and are loving every minute of every day. I don't work the farm full time now, but show every chance I get. Seeing the Texas countryside has never been so exciting for all of us. Our horses are doing very well and we are looking forward to 2007 & 2008. Our website should be up very soon (labonitafarms.com) so be looking for it.
Hope to hear from old friends soon.
