Dorthy McConaughey-Irwin:  

In my second year, I returned to my old set of friends from Rogers. We spent a lot of time going to church and watching MTV. In my last year, I made friends with lots of really nice people. I also spent time at two other high schools, finishing all my required credits. My focus was not really on high school, but what came next. College I went to West Valley, De Anza, and San Jose State. I got a liberal arts degree. I enjoyed dance and physical therapy classes. I took lots of art, fashion, and design classes. I made a whole new group of friends when I was 19 and we're all still close. My biggest regret is not staying in contact with the kids from Blackford. Workplace Before I had my children, I worked as an office manager for a small copier company. After starting a family, I started doing volunteering to feel useful. As a family, we are very focused on helping the Alzheimer's Association. My mother was diagnosed in Feb. '07. We also enjoy supporting Juvenile Diabetes events.
