Well I am Dottie Warren. I got married while i was in high school. I was married 25 years and then I divorced my ex. After that I was with Bill for 12 years until he died a short battle with lung cancer. I had 4 children with my first husband 3 boys and 1 girl. I have 11 grandchildren. I am now a widow my daughter and 2 of my granddaughters live with me. I have been in Patton Village for 34 years now. I lost my youngest son 3 1/2 years ago to a accident in Houston. He worked for SBC. Some idiot ran a red light at Collingsworth and The Hardy toll road and killed him instantly. He left behind 3 wonderful kids. 2 boys and a girl the youngest was 3 he will never know his dad. all he has is the memories that we tell him. I was recently fired for political reasons from the City of Patton Village of where I have worked for 18 years. I loved my job. One of my nieces decided to run for Mayor and so i got fired. All my family lives within a close proximity to each other. here is where i hope to live until God calls me home. I am not dying that I know of just at our age we think about it. Oh yes by the way I am the Pentecostal girl that could not wear shorts or cut my hair that everyone one made fun of. My best friend thru junior high and high was and still is Judy Trammell (smith). Candace Willis, Barbara Trigg. David Truelock, Debbie Truelock of whom married my cousin Mike Meier. Sadly they divorced but Debbie is still my cousin. My cousins are Leslie and Michael Meyer. Maybe someone remembers me I always wanted to be a housewife when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a crazy idea. As it turns out...Expand for more
