Doug's Story

Life Occupation: Aerospace engineering adminstration. Hobbies: Muralist, world traveller, serve in the tank corps in the Israeli Defense Forces (good way to relieve stress of the business world), listen to jazz, blues, zydeco, and the golden oldies. Have enjoyed attending art galleries and museums, operas, and symphonies around the world (Russia, China, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Finland, Jordan, Lebanon, Israel, etc, etc). inist, vocalist, and a founding member of a Klezmer band). Children: Four; two boys (banker and Reiki Master/social worker) - two girls (snow ski office manager and caretaker of disabled children); six grandchildren (from toddlers to college students). General Comments: I blend teas procured from the countries I visit, run on mountain trails in Arizona, and collect books, art, and Lladro porcelains. I study Torah, Talmud, Mishna, Gemera, Kabbala, and the Zohar daily.

All set for convert 3 with the Tempe Symphony Orchestra last night.  We played  the Brahms 1st Symphony in C Minor and The Moldau by Smetana.  The audience loved it! I can't imagine my life without my violin!
This was taken last night before the final concert of the symphony season.  The program was a crowd pleaser!  So much fun to play!  We performed Symphonic Dances from Westside Story, Symphony 5 1/2 by Don Gillis and finishe
